“Sand and Sea I” and “Sand and Sea II” are original handcut mixed media collages, each on 5”x5” heavy watercolor paper.

A pair of simple collages to celebrate Spring Break, the beach, and sunny days. A throwback to simpler times, these vintage bathing beauties (and their gents) are modest in their swimwear, but still having a blast at the beach.  Both pieces are also tied together with unique backgrounds, made through a chemical reaction of CitraSolv and National Geographic magazines. You can almost feel the sea breeze and smell the salt air.
