“Stepping Out” is an original, handcut paper collage on 5″x5″ heavy watercolor paper.

If you look at the pose of this vintage catalog gal, in her hat and suit, you see that she has some serious attitude. That is what drew me to her image and why I wanted to highlight her in this square format. Her background is made of other vintage papers, but she is the focus and you can imagine that she is definitely “stepping out.”
